Ken has served in senior operational and corporate development roles in large companies and early-stage ventures in the computer equipment, software, and Internet industries. He has lived and worked in the U.S. and Europe and has extensive worldwide business experience.

Immediately prior to joining Catalyst, Ken was CEO of Trialsmith Inc., a highly-successful legal information Internet site. He continues to serve as Chairman or director of several technology firms. As an advisor, Ken has assisted a number of companies with strategic partnerships, M&A transactions, minority investments and equity/debt funding and he has directed turnarounds in two troubled businesses.

Ken Bresnen began his career as a production engineer with Texas Instruments in Germany. At the Telex Corporation, he served in several senior operational and financial roles and managed the post-merger integration of several Memorex operations. Ken holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a BS Engineering from Texas A&M.
