Buying the Building Blocks - Catalyst heads up M&A workshop

The Catalyst Group is co-leading a workshop session outlining the steps necessary for a company to make a successful acquisition. The event is part of a Businessgrowth workshop day on March 6th, organised jointly by the European Technology Forum (ETF) and the Computing Services and Software Association (CSSA).

Peter Kroeger of Catalyst will be joined by William Berrington of Barcroft Partnership to deliver an insight into the role of mergers and acquisitions for dynamic growth firms. The Catalyst Group has a wealth of experience in structuring, negotiating and executing transactions worldwide.

The key points being covered during the workshop will include: the reasons to make acquisitions, the preparation business should make before starting, the process of making an acquisition both in the UK and abroad, how shareholder value can be created, what issues will ensure a successful negotiation and what the considerations should be post-acquisition.

The Businessgrowth workshop day precedes the Software Partnering and Investment Forum (March 7-8), organised by ETF. Both events take place at Royal Lancaster Hotel.
